Bèrghem Ultra Runners Club was founded upon the idea to organise running training and ultra races. Members must either: a) be involved or plan to be involved in long distance running, or b) would like to play a role in the operations of the club as a support member.
Annual fee is 150 NOK for both active and support members.
Open to everyone
Membership is open to everyone, no matter where you are located.
Be a min of 18 years old
Each member must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Independent private club
The club is registered in the volunteer register as an independent private club.
We are not associated with The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (Norges Idrettsforbund/Norges Friidrettsforbund) and are therefore not covered by the association’s insurance. Participants signed up in our competitions and races must have their own insurance. International participants should have travel insurance that covers them for athletics and ultra running. Our competitions do not count towards regional and national championships. Members who wish to take part in regional or national championships are free to do so, but be aware that membership in Bèrghem Ultra Trail Runners Club doesn’t lead to points or official ranking - whether at a Norwegian or international level.
